Our story seemed to start at the very beginning of our lives. We found these baby photos of us and knew we were always destined to find eachother. The universe set our story in motion years and years before we ever met and we had no clue.
I (Adam) was spending a relaxing evening with two of my friends, eating tacos and telling stories over a front yard campfire in PB. I found out that my friend had invited Mia’s roommate to join us. After some persuasion, Mia decided to come with her roommate to the campfire.
When the girls arrived at the house, I was immediately attracted to Mia, and as the night continued around the campfire, the sparks kept flying. The night came to a close, and I didn’t ask Mia for her number. Devastating.
The next day came, and I received a text from my friend who was in communication with Mia’s roommate, asking me if I’d be interested in getting Mia’s phone number. Of course! A lucky break from fate.
I sent Mia a text with some banter, and a week later we went on our first date—dinner in downtown La Jolla that led to an evening full of connection, ending in the early morning at the Torrey Pines Gliderport.
We are so happy with our lives right now. We love living in Little Italy where there's always something to do and so many great food spots to try. We have lived here for over 3 years and still haven't tried them all. (But definitely have our favorites if you need any recommendations). We are huge foodies so we love trying new restaurants and returning to those we know will be delicious.
We also have a ton of other hobbies we do together like pickleball, tennis, golf, camping, traveling, beach going, and playing with our two dog babies Kai and Nala.
In this next chapter in our lives, we want to continue to do all the things we love and keep traveling to new countries/continents. We are planning a honeymoon trip to Europe/Greece for the summer of 2026.
Adam will be starting a new job soon as a fire apparatus engineer with Cal Fire San Diego and Mia will continue building her career as a mechanical design engineer at Hologic.
Once we feel comfortable in our careers and have steady pace going we'd love to start our own family.
